Louisa5:
I flew from Scotland to Paris to see Paul for the first time and I thought he was incredible. It was absolutely perfect to me and I danced, laughed and cried. I find it hard to explain how I felt seeing him perform the songs which mean so much to me, but I'm sure you all understand. My friend who is a casual fan was also blown away. Also what a beautiful city Paris is. Despite being drenched I was thrilled to see the Eiffel Tower, eat some lovely food and meet a few wonderful characters. The best weekend of my life, thank you to Paul and the fantastic crowd at the gig who made my first time seeing him even more special.
Great to read your post. Judging from what is on youtube, the Paris gig was special !

Very happy for you! Also jealous, thinking about my memories of the first few times I saw him. It's easy to be a little jaded if you've seen him more than a few times, and forget how special he is.

Wow, I found this online:
*THUD* Luuuvvvve the open shirt collar. mmmmmmm Hurry up October!!!!!!!!!! -
Recordings are surfacing (PM is anyone any help) and before "Queenie Eye" he says "This one's called Queenie Eye, ok, it's for Gracie and Zoe" - no idea who they are and Google doesn't either but people on setlist.fm are claiming it's "Jorie Gracen"...anyone know for sure ?
-
Just listened to a sample of 'Birthday' from one of the tapes, and I realised that after Abe Jr. ghosting more and more vocally, they now just decided to push his vocals all the way back in the mix...?!

I know that Jorie was not in Paris, so I've no idea why he would be mentioning her at that show. I'm sure that is not what he said. Ronnie Wood's wife gave birth to twin girls on May 30th and their names are Gracie Jane and Alice Rose, maybe was a shoutout to the babies?

That would make more sense, except that he says "it's for Gracie and Zoe"...maybe he got the names wrong EDIT : here is what he says : http://picosong.com/Zkvq

Nice video, I think I was able to spot myself...note to self, next time wear a brighter t-shirt Anyway we now have a audio clip and a video to figure out what he says!
-
Paul looks over to the side of the stage when dedicating Queenie Eye to Gracie and Zoe so I'd assume they are in the audience...whoever they are!

Hello, my short review of the Paris concert, including a few photos: http://www.the-paulmccartney-project.com/2016/05/the-paris-concert-short-review/ Pretty proud of this one :

Ok, here is a song he sounds great on, is upbeat and a hit for him. But he won't play it live in the main set. However, he plays Four Five Seconds, an inferior song he sounds horrible on. Is anybody guiding this ship?? Thanks for posting that, it was fun!
-
Love watching the band teach him his own song! He seems quite reluctant to believe that the error was his but shrugs his shoulders at the end as if to say "well ok if you say so!"
-
Look at the fun they are having... Same with the brand new and brilliant acoustic in the middle. It can be done. Fully rehearsed. Being fine-tuned during soundchecks. Gold in Germany. Not played in regular sets. :

I noticed the same thing and could have posted what you did verbatim.

I cannot believe he would ever say "sorry." And in public! But there it is...recorded. It is now on a loop so I can play it non-believers on my phone.

Why not play to his own strengths? I'm just as puzzled.
