what a great show ! it's hard to put words upon what i felt but all i can say is thank you to Paul and his band for such a wonderful live : emotions, rock, laughs and for the first time i shared this with my 19 years old son. It was a light in my life ! keep on rocking Paul !

so happy to hear everyone had such a wonderful time

Just got back from Paris ............. Paul did not talk about Hendrix and Clapton. He played music instead. The foxy lady coda lasted at least 3-4 minutes this time. Paul did not tell the Civil Rights story before Blackbird . The crowd started singing Give Peace A Chance and we had a full band shortened version of the song. We had Letting Go for the FIRST TIME in France. We had a snippet of Ou est Le Soleil, We had a snippet of " Sur Le Pont d'Avignon" ( a french traditional song from 19th century ) We sang our french national anthem La Marseille and then... We had a snippet of God Save the Queen by Paul. We had Michelle as usual. And we had ALL THE SONGS of the tour. No tracks omitted. Paul is God. Period.

First time since 1976 ;). But yeah, first time any European country outside UK and Ireland sees 'Letting Go' by this band. 'Ou Est Le Soleil' though? When was this? Would like to dig it up on YouTube.

No we had everything (all the extras) I mentioned PLUS the usual ONE ON ONE setlist.

I'd done my best to avoid any spoilers but the RS rss feed mentioned "A Hard Day's Night", didn't know it was the opening number though. I was thrilled to get "Letting Go", "You Won't See Me" (mini masterclass mode) "In Spite of All the Danger", "Love Me Do" (don't we all remember seeing young Paul in that first B&W video...), "FourFiveSeconds" (Macca's version is that one that should have been released) or "Hi, Hi, Hi" (I keep thinking it's going to be Helen Wheels, hehe...). Honestly he could sing anything from his Beatles, Wings, Solo catalogue the audience would love it Getting "Hope of Deliverance", "Let Em In", "Ram On" or even "Only Mama Knows" during the soundcheck was wonderfull too. I'm glad I went "all in" for this one, but it's amazing how easy it is to get spoilt and take things for granted what with the Soundcheck, the spot on the rail between Paul and Ray, too much of a good thing?

And since he only did one gig in Belgium since 2003, the Belgian press came back to Paris ('03, '04, '07, '09', '11, '14, '15) as well: **** in De Morgen: http://www.demorgen.be/muziek/paul-mccartney-in-parijs-bejaard-vermaard-ongeevenaard-bacb668e/ ******* (out of ****!) in Humo: http://www.humo.be/concert-reviews/365131/paul-mccartney-parijs-bercy And very favourable in De Standaard: http://www.standaard.be/cnt/dmf20160531_02315789

I flew from Scotland to Paris to see Paul for the first time and I thought he was incredible. It was absolutely perfect to me and I danced, laughed and cried. I find it hard to explain how I felt seeing him perform the songs which mean so much to me, but I'm sure you all understand. My friend who is a casual fan was also blown away. Also what a beautiful city Paris is. Despite being drenched I was thrilled to see the Eiffel Tower, eat some lovely food and meet a few wonderful characters. The best weekend of my life, thank you to Paul and the fantastic crowd at the gig who made my first time seeing him even more special.

Very happy for you! Also jealous, thinking about my memories of the first few times I saw him. It's easy to be a little jaded if you've seen him more than a few times, and forget how special he is.

Wow, I found this online:
*THUD* Luuuvvvve the open shirt collar. mmmmmmm Hurry up October!!!!!!!!!! -
Recordings are surfacing (PM is anyone any help) and before "Queenie Eye" he says "This one's called Queenie Eye, ok, it's for Gracie and Zoe" - no idea who they are and Google doesn't either but people on setlist.fm are claiming it's "Jorie Gracen"...anyone know for sure ?
-
Just listened to a sample of 'Birthday' from one of the tapes, and I realised that after Abe Jr. ghosting more and more vocally, they now just decided to push his vocals all the way back in the mix...?!

I know that Jorie was not in Paris, so I've no idea why he would be mentioning her at that show. I'm sure that is not what he said. Ronnie Wood's wife gave birth to twin girls on May 30th and their names are Gracie Jane and Alice Rose, maybe was a shoutout to the babies?

That would make more sense, except that he says "it's for Gracie and Zoe"...maybe he got the names wrong EDIT : here is what he says : http://picosong.com/Zkvq
