Paul McCartney 2017 Rumors

FlowersOnTheRun:
It should be noted that the arenas in Austin, Houston and San Antonio all have a July 17th date free
And it should be noted that jl4761 would love it if he appeared in one of those cities! You seeing this J?

I'll be so happy to get the UK tour, I might go to a few concerts this time. I'm surprised there hasn't been any mentions yet but hopefully something soon. Might be worth to see any gaps in the arena schedules for the end of 2017!
I've already done that for a few arenas in England as I doubt he'll be up here ever again.

We're both thinking the same thing... that July 17 may be open for a reason... let's hope it's good news for fans in Texas!

Yes, that would be great. Hope it can work out for him

I seriously doubt there will be any NEW summer cities announced, probably just second dates in previously announced locations.

Any info on onsale dates? Think they'll just pop surprises and they'll just show up?!
In the past there have many times that the extra shows popped up when the first show sold a certain amount of tickets but this did not happen here. I would speculate on another round of announcements. Do not know that one for sure but would make sense at this point
Thanks for the insight, Bob! I've experienced both random pop-ups of second shows and immediate pop-ups on first sale day.

Due to Overwhelming Demand 2nd and Final Chicago Show Added July 26 at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre July 25 SOLD OUT! General Public Sale Opens Friday, May 12 at 10am (local / 4pm BST) PaulMcCartney.com tickets for Paul's second date will go on sale at 9am (local / 3pm BST) through Ticketmaster on the link below. Please note, the password for these tickets will be: PAUL1ON1USA Get PaulMcCartney.com tickets for Paul's second Chicago date on July 26 by clicking HERE! Chicago, IL - Due to overwhelming fan demand, Paul McCartney and Live Nation have confirmed a second and final Chicago show has been added for Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre on July 26th, the day after Paul's completely sold out July 25th show. The two dates are part of the U.S. leg of his 'One On One' Tour and are Paul's first appearances in the region since his now legendary 2015 performance at Lollapalooza. Paul McCartney's 'One On One' tour opened April 13, 2016 with Paul's debut concert in Fresno CA. The show, which opened with Paul's first performance of 'A Hard Day's Night' since The Beatles last played it 1965, drew instant and unanimous raves from near ("McCartney's abundance of natural charm and charisma made this sold-out arena show feel and more like a really big piano bar"--The Fresno Bee) and far ("nearly three hours of music that moved gracefully from the intimate to the explosive... the emphasis never drifted from the music, ranging from generational anthems to post-Beatles deep cuts"--Rolling Stone). 'One On One' has since logged 36 shows and counting, spanning the globe from North and South America to the UK and Europe and a current run of Japanese dates. Venues have ranged from packed stadiums and arenas to one of the most intimate gigs of Paul's solo career to date at the 300-capacity Pappy & Harriet's Pioneertown Palace in tiny Pioneertown, CA. 'One On One's 2016 run wrapped up with two headlining sets at the historic Desert Trip festival in Indio, CA, which featured surprise guest appearances from Neil Young and Rihanna--a fitting coda to a tour that featured Paul joined on encores by the likes of Nirvana's Krist Novoselic in Seattle, Jimmy Fallon in Vancouver, and both Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead and New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski at a record-breaking show at Boston's Fenway Park. The Paul McCartney live experience is everything any music lover could ever want from a rock show--and so much more: Nearly three hours worth of the greatest moments from the last 50 years of music, dozens of songs that have formed the soundtracks of our lives. Paul and his band have played an unparalleled range of venues and locations: outside the Coliseum in Rome, Moscow's Red Square, Buckingham Palace, The White House, a free show in Mexico for over 400,000 people, the last ever show at San Francisco's Candlestick Park where The Beatles played their final concert 1966, and even one performance broadcast live into Space! Featuring Paul's band of the last 10+ years - Paul "Wix" Wickens (keyboards), Brian Ray (bass/guitar), Rusty Anderson (guitar) and Abe Laboriel Jr (drums) - the show is never anything short of life-changing. As with every Paul McCartney tour, 'One On One' features dozens of classics from the most beloved catalog in popular music, spanning Paul's entire career-as a solo artist, member of Wings and of course as a Beatle--and no shortage of surprises. State of the art audio and video technology ensure an unforgettable experience from every seat in the house: Massive screens, lasers, fireworks and, of course, a staggering selection of the best songs ever written or performed make every Paul McCartney show a once in a lifetime event that transcends and elevates the potential of live music. Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, May 12 at 10 a.m. at www.livenation.com Citi cardmembers can take advantage of a special pre-sale opportunity for the Chicago show at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre on July 26, beginning Tuesday, May 9 at 10am through Thursday, May 11 at 10pm. Apologies if this has already been mentioned recently- November or December UK shows? legit rumour or nothing doing? One to One hasn't reached here yet. last tour was in May 2015. Just saying
Nothing yet - not even any whispers. I've seen him live three times and would love to see him again, so I'm checking around everyday for information. Fingers crossed we get a clutch of arena dates later in the year.
I'm rapidly losing hope of getting to see him on this tour. If there are any UK shows this year , they'll have to be in November/December based on the tour schedule as it currently stands, so I suppose there's still plenty of time for an announcement - or the tour could extend into next year, but I don't know how likely that is?? It would feel like a real kick in the teeth if he missed us completely, given that he will have done 42 US shows during the One on One tour!! During the Out There tour he played 44 times in the US compared to 4 times in the UK and 9 times across the whole of continental Europe!? All I'm saying is his ratios are a bit off and I hope he addresses that

Remember last tour, apart from 3 random gigs many music lovers couldn't attend since it was crammed up in a few days in the middle of festival season including Glastonbury, it took him 2 full years into the tour to properly hit Europe and the set was old hat, the usual warmed-up scraps for us. Even the obligatory Liverpool gig was phoned in, addition-wise. And by that time the set was almost back in circles and he dropped 'Your Mother Should Know', and re-added a few songs he already had done at the previous leg 3+ years earlier. So next year 'I Wanna Be Your Man' and 'You Won't See Me' are dropped for 'Drive My Car' and 'Day Tripper' again. 'Here, There & Everywhere' already got the axe...
