Paul's Exercise routine yoga, meditation and headstands!
Wow no wonder he does 3 hour shows!
He'll outlive us all!
It is a whole new world today and not as surprising that some older people are really in good shape and can still do pretty well physically. I am in my late 60's and can still run 5 miles in about 40 minutes. I play tennis 2-3 times (1-2 hrs) a week weather permitting. When my wife wants to go for a walk, we walk together for an hour. I belong to several tennis groups and there are people in their 80's and one man in his early 90's that still play tennis (doubles). My brother is in his early 70's and rides a bicycle, jogs, swims and lifted weights before COVID cut down some of these activities. Glad Paul does this stuff and is very healthy but it is not that shocking anymore with older person being that active.
I take it back. YOU will outlive us all!
lol - thanks

Maybe in 2022 he'll do a #Macca80 tour to go along with the big exhibition (a retrospective of his life) that is scheduled to open in London.

Maybe I won't be so bummed if we have to postpone our U.K. trip for the 2nd time to 2022!

As soon as I get my vaccines, I'm heading over the pond to visit my friends. They will help me quarantine if necessary and then I'm going see whatever shows that are open to go see. When is there going to be a retrospective in London?! That sounds really cool and I can't wait to travel again!!!

My understanding is that you have to stay where the U.K. government says you have to stay, and then they charge you over $2000 for the quarantine time (10 days) I read that recently. Here is something from about a month ago:

Yep, and there is also that 72 hr PCR Covid test requirement both for entering the UK and getting back into the US. No testing site can guarantee test result turnaround in that time frame no matter what they say so international travel is basically DOA right now even with vaccines. Hopefully that will change because I couldn'r resist getting airfare and the Gold package to attend International Beatles Week in Liverpool come August. Fingers crossed!

My friend and I also have Gold Package, flights and hotels. All will be refundable if necessary.

It looks like I'm going to have to stay in Europe for the summer! Make up for lost time... I can't wait, that's all I've been thinking about and am reading up on the Netherlands right now. I'm pretty sure if you get the vaccine there will be a vaccine passport along with your regular passport. The hotel quarantine is only if you come from 33 red listed countries. Hopefully the booster for South Africa will be available by then!!! Woo hoo L2T

Thanks for posting those Nancy! I'm sure by May, they will have so much more in place concerning the Vaccine. A friend will lend me his flat if I have to quarantine alone. I was supposed to go back in December, before the Thanksgiving mess. United was giving Covid tests for overseas back in November when I returned from the West Coast. Thinking they are still doing that.
The Commons Project is organising testing and vaccine info into a common agreed upon standard across nations. Going to cross my t's and dot my i's so I can travel. Looking at BeaTle Week in August, do you have to pre sign up for that?

I wrote a very long and meaningful post here, and then when I clicked to post it my tablet decided to say 'no wifi', so it's all gone (I can never copy/to paste on the tab, unlike desktop). I guess it's nature telling me not to post these things...
Night night

It's my understanding that you can't just stay where you want to. You have to stay in the hotel they tell you to. And they charge you a lot! Read this:
You have to get Beatleweek tickets on this site: (pick a package - we got Gold without the hotel - we picked our own hotel) Tickets went on sale in Dec. 2020.

Having to quarantine for 10 days at a government approved hotel (usually situated near airports) is only for travellers (returning) from 'red' listed countries. As of now the US isn't on that red list so you would only have to quarantine for 10 days at a location of your choice. In six months time that quarantine period from safe countries will probably be suspended anyway. The UK should be back reasonably close to normal by then although social distancing and mask wearing will probably still be in place.

Thanks Kestrel, it's very confusing! I really hope we can visit in August!

If Boris's announcement that all social distancing rules are completely abolished by 21st June (we'll see). I can't think of anything better than to have some Paul Christmas shows It's just wishful thinking but it'll be such a lovely thing to have after a terrible year and a half.

I wonder if the stage show that Paul is writing the music for (It's A Wonderful Life) will be ready by Christmas season 2021.

So good to finally hear of this! Can’t wait to come visit for a long stay! Will have to make up for lost time and lots of hugs are involved!

Do you think we will see any tour dates for the fall? Eric Clapton just announced a flurry of fall dates in the US.
Maybe a residency in NYC again?

New York is planning a special concert at Central Park on August 21th and producer Clive Davis said he is aiming for eight iconic stars to perform a three-hour show. I really think Paul will be invinted to join the party. What do you guys think?
