The three festivals are being listed on the website as "summer festivals 2015", separate from Out There.
That's interesting to note! I suspect they'll be slightly shorter editions of the Out There setlist.
Geez Paul, you ignore the US and then the shows you do here are shorter than everywhere else! That's cold, playa!
I don't think the shows will be shorter...I am pretty sure that his setlists at other festival shows such as Bonnaroo were the same as his other shows during those same tour legs.

There are a lot of 72 year olds OUT THERE who work more than 2.5 hours a day! He can do it!

I doubt the shows will be any shorter unless the festival is imposing a time limit. In previous festival appearances he has performed his entire setlist. RamblinRed

For Lolla the curfew is 10 pm curfew (:shock and in the last 5 years headliners started 8:15, 8:30 or 8:45... based on that I'm thinking the Lolla show may be shorter based but Paul has pull so maybe he makes the show start earlier? I hope so

Hate to say it but I'm starting to doubt US tour dates this summer. Hope if they happen an announcement will come relatively soon.

If there isn't an announcement within the next week or so, I don't think there will be a US tour...

Agreed. I'll give them until May 1. Then I'll buy tix for Clapton at MSG LOL

I'm thinking back to my first summer in the McCartney live camp...those two shows were announced about five weeks before they each took place. I see no reason whatsoever to give up in the middle of April when this man has a long history of forcing his fans to wait until the last minute and taunting us date by date all along the way......
-
Has anyone been reading a newspaper in the UK called The Sun in the past couple of days? Apparently it mentioned more Out There concerts are being planned for the second semester.

When's that? And where would those shows be? If he skips the US this year, the demand will be stronger in American cities next year, which means more sellouts/money. (Like he needs more!)

Speaking words of wisdom.

If I miss him this year, whatever. I'll only be upset if I never see him again, and if he retires from touring this year.

He's going to let people know before he retires. A Paul McCartney Farewell Tour would probably end up being the highest grossing tour of all time. He won't end touring for good so abruptly on this tour.

I doubt he would announce his retirement, but it's true- he probably won't end abruptly. I don't want to scare anyone, I just wonder how much longer he'll be doing these 3 hr shows. Maybe next year he'll start cutting back.

I'd like to hear more of this. (And what does "second semester" refer to? The summer?) -Rubber Soul13

I haven't read the newspaper note myself, so if I simply repeat what I read yesterday about it on twitter it will sound made-up.

I believe the Sun is Britain's rag papers. Very gossipy If I remember correctly

Another reason for me not to quote it, then.
