I've got a feeling that Get Back would performed in the set given the tour title and the film release.
Mrs. Vandebilt would be a solid.
Now that I think about it, Hope of Deliverance would not only be a gem to hear live, but could also be a nod to Ukraine, given its vintage, when Eastern Europe had an optimistic outlook.
In addition, Sir Paul's great Bass playing on the highly underrated Good Night Tonight, now that would be thrilling to hear as well. It would fit nicely right before an encore/ The End etc. I wonder when was the last time he has played Good Night Tonight live in concert?
1979 Live in Wembley
Was played at all the '79 UK shows after Wembley, too; I saw it done in Edinburgh and Glasgow, the final 3 shows of the tour. I cant remember if he did it at Kampuchea, tho. Ugh to brain drain.

The last time he played "Goddnight Tonight" in concert was in 1979 with Wings. However he played it recently in London as a "guest performer" with another band.
Wow! I was wondering if if he had play'd it in recent years. Looks like negative regarding tours since 1979. Perhaps it's difficult and taxing for someone even at age thirty to consitently play? Good to know he embraced in recent years as a "guest perfomer". In addition, I could imagine he was trying to go for fresh sounds esp in the 90s + etc, but It sure sounds mighty fine and impressive today.
I answered your question earlier, and posted a short video, but for some reason it got posted BEFORE your question! (if you click on Newest)
Thank you NJR.
I was not sure if that was the last tour as well as the first tour for that song to be incorporated. I guess so.
I would have otherwised wagered it snuck in some concerts over the decades.
I Googled it - first and last time (except that "guest performer" thing)

Paul, feel free to sing Pipes Of Peace for Ukraine

As curious as I am to see what different songs Paul may add to his set list, I am just as interested to see what he cuts from the set list since 2019. I will list songs below I think should be cut and the chances that they are replaced.
My Valentine - this song should have been "one and done tour" song. From all reports, this is a "bathroom" break song. I get Paul wants to do song for his wife Nancy but let's hope he selects another song to dedicate to her. Chances this will be eliminated from the set list are slim to none IMO.
Letting Go - song has been played to death and IMO should have been dropped a decade ago. Supposedly, it is one of Nancy's favorite songs and Paul seems to enjoy playing guitar on the song. This song will be on set list forever -lol.
Come On To Me & Fuh You - the two songs I really did not enjoy from the very good "Egypt Station" album. I think they will be replaced by songs from "McCartney III"
Queenie Eye - another song I was not a big fan of and it has been on set list since the album "New" came out in 2013. I think this will also be replaced by another "McCartney III" song.
Maybe I'm Amazed - great song but it is painful hearing Paul sing it now. He will continue to do it as tribute to Linda.
In Spite Of All Danger - fairly obscure song and has lasted longer than I thought it would on set list. I can see this being replaced by another Beatle song that he has not done before.
Benefit Of Mr. Kite - Not exactly one of the best songs from Sgt. Pepper. It has been played for a couple of tours I believe and I think Paul will replace it with song from "rooftop concert", maybe "One After 909".
Dance Tonight - another song that has been played for several tours and time to replace it. The song is fun and it is easy for Paul to sing so I think it will stay in the set list.
Hard Day's Night - great song and the opening chord is freaking cool way to open show. I am only saying it should be replaced because every new tour IMO should have different opening song. Seems lots of fans want "I Want To Hold Your Hand" or "Get Back" to replace it as opening number. Personally, I would love him to open with "Find My Way" but truly doubt that will happen.
Here Today & Something - These tribute songs have been in his set list for 20 years and time for a change. "Early Days" would be great replacement as tribute to John IMO. Songs like "For You Blue", "All Things Must Pass" and "Old Brown Shoe" would be cool replacement for "Something" The odds on "Here Today" and "Something" being replaced are the same as the odds on me becoming POTUS in 2024 -lmao !!
Just my thoughts, we will see what happens soon.

Note *** I made typo above. Song should have been "Let Me Roll It" not "Letting Go"

Great Post Yankeefan. I agree with the songs that you think have a slight chance to be cut from the last tour.
As far new additions, I would love "Happy With You" as a replacement for "My Valentine.
I would also love "Letting Go", Fuh You, Come On to Me, Queenie Eye, In Spite of All the Danger, Mr. Kite, Dance Tonight, Hard Day's Night to go. Hopefully he can replace these with more recent songs from McCartney 3 and Egypt Station.
I also agree with you that the chances of "Here Today" or "Something" to go are slim to none. I would love "Early Days" to replace "Here Today" and "Friends to Go" to replace "Something". Maybe "Hard Days Night" could be replaced by "I Want to Hold Your Hand". These subtle changes could make for a very good and interesting "Got Back" tour.
Let's Hope!

"As far new additions, I would love "Happy With You" as a replacement for "My Valentine."
This would be perfect replacement for "My Valentine". Lyrics of the songs details life with Nancy has changed his life for the better. Paul plays acoustic guitar which he is great at doing and the song was recorded with his voice being older.
"I would also love "Letting Go", Fuh You, Come On to Me, Queenie Eye, In Spite of All the Danger, Mr. Kite, Dance Tonight, Hard Day's Night to go. Hopefully he can replace these with more recent songs from McCartney 3 and Egypt Station."
I don't know if you saw the post below my OP but I typed "Letting Go" instead of "Let Me Roll It". Anyway, these were the songs I thought most likely to be cut so he could add "McCartney III" or different "Egypt Station" songs. I am sure if he replaces a couple of those Beatle songs it will be with a different Beatle song.
"I also agree with you that the chances of "Here Today" or "Something" to go are slim to none. I would love "Early Days" to replace "Here Today" and "Friends to Go" to replace "Something". I like the idea of him doing "Friends To Go" instead of "Something", great selection. I would like it even if he swapped out songs every other show. Do "Here Today" one night and do "Early Days" another night especially if he does two shows in one city. Same thing with the George tribute songs and we provided more than one option. A song like "I Want To Hold Your Hand" would give his show some buzz on internet if it was the opener but part of me is rooting for "Find My Way" -lol.

Well, we KNOW he will do Get Back even though he can't do it justice anymore.
I agree with you guys about the removals and swapping out he should do. Instead of Something, why couldn't he blow our minds and do While My Guitar Gently Weeps? Abe could help with the high notes! And ANYTHING but Mr. Kite for John! In My Life would be fantastic, but again, there's those pesky high notes. (he could falsetto the end)
For someone who is a known perfectionist, he sure is lazy about re-learning songs!!

Love the "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" idea and why not do it the way it was done at the concert for George (see link)? Have Paul play the piano (Clapton was lead guitar) and have Paul share the lead vocals with Brian/Rusty. When it comes to the high parts, Paul remains quiet and lets the band handle it. I think you are right, it would blow people's minds and definitely have tons of youtube hits. BTW - saw Brian Wilson 6-7 years ago and when it came to doing the high parts of songs, Al Jardine's son (Matt) took over -lol. (he has great voice).

Agree with you 100%. If I was going to one of the "Got Back" shows, the # 1 song I would hope he'd cut is "Let Me Roll It". It used to be one of my favorite Post Beatle Paul songs, but the way he sings it now, he sounds like Michael Bolton. It is also way too long. Another plus...If he cut it, we wouldn't have to hear the Jimi Hendrix story yet again!
-
I was hoping the opening song would be something "new" like I Want To Hold Your Hand but I guess it will be Get Back with images from Peter Jackson's documentary.
Fans are speculating on another forum that the rehearsal video from earlier today points in the direction of the following songs:
Get Back
Can't Buy Me Love
Let Me Roll It
You Won't See Me
Hope Of Deliverance
Blackbird
Here Today
Queenie Eye
Something
Live And Let Die
Hey Jude
I've Got A Feeling
Birthday
Sgt.Pepper
Helter Skelter
Golder Slumbers -
Why not "People Want Peace?"
It has an audience sing along portion. People would love it due to situation in Ukraine. It doesn't even matter if they know it.

Alright, I'm getting (unnecessarily) hyped up for tomorrow night, considering I'm on the opposite coast of the tour! Here's a dream list I just made up, thinking of the "formula" he's used for the past fourteen years. Very few of these songs have never been played live yet, I feel like this would make everyone pretty happy. If we even got halfway close to this, I'd be over the moon...
- I Want To Hold Your Hand
- She Loves You
- Come on To Me
- Who Cares
- She’s a Woman
- One After 909
- I’ve Got a Feeling
- Let Me Roll it
- Let Em In
- C Moon
- Find My Way
- My Love
- In Spite of All The Danger
- Love Me Do
- From Me To You
- Things We Said Today
- Two of Us
- I’ll Follow The Sun
- Blackbird
- Here Today
- Something
- Seize The Day
- Fixing a Hole
- Lady Madonna
- Good Day Sunshine
- Penny Lane
- Band on The Run
- Live and Let Die
- Let it Be
- Hey Jude
ENCORE - Get Back
- Golden Slumbers
- Carry That Weight
- The End
-

I was just about to disagree with you LOL because Letting Go had not been in the set for a long time until he brought it back on the last tour, and it is a terrific use of the horns.

Yeah, I mentioned it with The Concert for George in mind! Rusty could do the Clapton part.
As far as Wix Rocks' list - it's a lot of the same old stuff, plus he could never pull off My Love! That ship has sailed. I do like I Want To Hold Your Hand as the opener, and the inclusion of Two Of Us, though!

There has been lots of people mentioning "I Want To Hold Your Hand" so maybe that message has gotten to Paul, it would be fun to hear but would would worry a bit about high part. (guess Abe could take over -lol). In my mind the only questions on the set list is how many "McCartney III" songs will he do and what is the new opening song? I normally have low expectations when it comes to him making changes in set list, let's hope Paul surprises us and mixes it up a bit more.

Looking at WixRocks imaginery setlist above, my questions would be:
Can Paul still sing "She's A Woman", "I've Got a Feeling", "My Love" or "Golden Slumbers"
Do we still need secondary songs in the Setlist like:
Come On to Me (he's did that Egypt Station song on the last tour; why not "I Don't Know", Dominoes that haven't been done and are much better songs)
Let Me Roll It (he's done that forever and he can't sing it well these days)
Let 'Em In (he done it many times in the past)
C-Moon (A tertiary song in Paul's Catalog at best)
As suggested by others...why not offer different "Tribute" songs for John and George...he has plenty to choose from
I do think "WixRocks" Setlist is realistic but it could be much better with some of these suggestions.

"Looking at WixRocks imaginery setlist above, my questions would be:

The answer IMO is no -lol
"Do we still need secondary songs in the Setlist like:
Come On to Me (he's did that Egypt Station song on the last tour; why not "I Don't Know", Dominoes that haven't been done and are much better songs)"
I think the songs you mentioned are much better selections from "Egypt Station" and I would add "Early Days", "Confidante", "In A Hurry" and "Home Tonight" as possible additions.
"Let Me Roll It (he's done that forever and he can't sing it well these days)"
This song has become tiresome to me and it should have been replaced years ago with something like "Beware My Love" which unfortunately he could not sing now.
"Let 'Em In (he done it many times in the past)"
Exactly !!
"C-Moon (A tertiary song in Paul's Catalog at best) "
Never liked this song and he has done it a couple tours. Mind blowing Paul will play song like this and not many of his other wonderful solo songs.
"As suggested by others...why not offer different "Tribute" songs for John and George...he has plenty to choose from"
I loved Nancy's suggestion in earlier post, why not do "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" for George. It would blow people away and IMO get some buzz for the tour. It should be done like it was at "The Concert For George" with Paul on piano and Rusty handling the Clapton part on lead guitar and vocals.
As you and I have said a bunch BJ, "Early Days" would be perfect selection for John.
I do think "WixRocks" Setlist is realistic but it could be much better with some of these suggestions."
I agree, it is realistic and I think with some tweaking could be a bit better but that is just my opinion,

^ Thanks Yankeefan! We know it won't happen, but we can only dream!

My favorite songs from McCartney III are Pretty Boys and Women And Wives, so I'll be thrilled if they are added to the setlist eventually.
