RE: Doctor Who
With the little that we know of Timelord physiology, having two hearts and able to regenerate up to thirteen times. We do know now that Timelords can even regenerate as children (ala Melody Pond). There's a couple of things I'm thrown of by regarding this. Melody is in NYC in 1970. She re-generates into her second incarnation, the Afro-Brit woman, Mels. When we see Mels in the past, she has known Amy and Rory since they were kids (circa 1996). In her present form as Mels, it seems that a Timelord can grow up (the human side of her. I'm sure young Timelords do, too.) We see her at various times between 1996 and 2011. When Melody regenerates into Mels in 1970, Mels would have been say 7 or 8 years old. So, how she have been able to control her aging process from 1970-1996 when she first met Amy and Rory as kids? How would she have been able to live on her own and find Rory and Amy? Unless she had a TARDIS, highly doubtful, she seems to have lived 36 years as an 7 or 8 year old girl. She has Timelord intelligence, she would have found a way to be adopted by a family or something. And, finally, when Mels used the rest of her regenerative abilities to save the Doctor. So, she is incapable of regenerating anymore and/or ever?

RE: Doctor Who
In "A Good Man Goes to War", Who are the samurai sword wielding Silurian, Madame Vastra, and her human sidekick, Jenny? Are they supposed to be new characters? They seem to be old friends of The Doctor. Will there be a future episode that will give us a backstory set in the Victorian Era on how their paths crossed? At first, I thought the female solider, Lorna Bucket (or is it pronounced Bouquet? ) was River Song as a young woman and thought was this the way she met the Doctor. Are the soldiers who are under the command of Madame Kovarian, the same "cleric" soldiers who were with River in last season's episodes of "The Time of Angels" and "Flesh and Stone"? Is anything known of Madame Kovarian: who and where she is from? Are she and the Headless Monks new villans? Was Kovarian responsible for getting Amy knocked up artificially? Or did she get naturally pregnant from Rory? And how was Kovarian able to get Melody/River fused with Timelord DNA? Was it somehow gotten from the Doctor? Or what if it was the Master's DNA? What if the Master is collaberating with Kovarian?

RE: Doctor Who
My observations and questions from watching the 1996 DW Movie: When the 7th Doctor is in the Operating Room and says to Grace that he isn't human. Then, after he regenerates into his 8th incarnation, it gets said that he is half-Human on his mum's side. Was this an attempt as a way to re-write the Doctor's past and add a shock-and stunned element to it? Or was it meant to be a joke? Upon entering the TARDIS for the first time, where did Grace learn to fly the TARDIS and re-wire it's systems? I know she is highly intelligent. When the Master was executed by the Daleks, how did his remains get turned into this eellike/sort-of-shapeshifting/gel like/reptilian creature that took over the paramedic's body? Did the Daleks do something to his molecular pattern that transformed it into that state? That wasn't the true form of a Gallifreyan? They are humanoid. How does the Doctor have the forseeable personal knowledge of people he has just only and/or has never met? He tells Chang Lee not to be in San Francisco at Christmas; he tells Grace that she becomes a famous and successful surgeon; he tells Gareth, the security guard, that he should select a certain answer on a test so that he passes it and goes to become a famous inventor/seismologist who invents a device that detect and/or prevents earthquakes. Unless, he looked up these peoples' futures on the TARDIS' computer, afterwards, how would he know about their forseeable futures upon first meeting them? In the new series, the 10th Doctor in "Waters of Mars", for example, realizes that when he has stumbled upon Bowie base and meets the doomed crew, he knows who they are from history and knows he cannot interfere and tell them of what is to come.

Question regarding the Cybermen: Since DW returned to the airwaves in 2005, a newly redesigned Cybermen from a parallel universe have been shown via John Lumic in 2006. In the series one episode, "Dalek", they show a classic Cybermen head in a showcase in Henry van Statten's alien museum. There has never been any reference an/or appearance of the original Cybermen from the planet Mondas (accept for an appearance of the mask or two). Were they somehow wiped out in a battle or galatic catastrophe? Have they kept quiet all this time? Were they somehow written out? There's been no mention of what happened to them. Or could we see the classic Cybermen reappear again? Could we see a faceoff of Classic Cybermen vs. New Cybermen? Or Classic Cybermen and New Cybermen joing forces to fight the Daleks?

RE: Doctor Who
For once and for all, I think i would be a great idea if they did a flashback episode of DW where the 11th Doctor would tell what led to and happened during The Last Great Time War. Cast Paul McGann and Christopher Eccleston to reprise their roles as the 8th and 9th Doctors, Timothy Dalton as Rassilon. Rebuild the TARDIS set from the 1996 DW movie. Show the events of what led to and happened during and after The Last Great Time War. And then show the Doctor's regenerating from the 8th to his 9th self and how the TARDIS interior got redesigned from the movie to the 9th/10th Doctors' TARDIS. And then to conclude, what brought him to Earth involving The Nestene Consciousness in the episode "Rose" that re-launched the series. This episode would bridge the 1996 DW telly movie to the current series.

RE: Doctor Who
Questions about The Doctor and River Song In the episodes "Silence in the Library" and "Forest of the Dead", the 10th Doctor meets River Song. She claims to know him from his future. He, to this time, isn't familiar with her, yet. As she sacrifices her self to save him and all the 4000 people saved in the CAL memory core, where do the 4000 people get transported to since they cannot remain on the Library because of the Vashta Nerada? Now, it probably remains to be told, but just suppose the 11th Doctor, with the memories he had of his 10th incarnation of seeing River Song dying and knowing this, do you think that there might be some future event that he saves her in some way, that he doesn't lose her? As as a result of that, that would wipe out the past events of River going back in time dying in "Silence" and "Forest" and they never take place or may occur in an alternate timeline, say? Did the Tenth Doctor end up keeping his future/River's sonic screwdriver? Last time he had it, he was uploading what was left of River's degrading life signal on the newer screwdriver. Or did he leave it behind in the Library? Or did he take it with him, only to use later after his regeneration after the old one fizzled out? Did he create the current screwdriver or did he keep it after getting it from River during his 10th incarnation?

RE: The Beatles Picture Thread
The Beatles at The Saville Theater to see Jimi Hendrix and The Experience, 1967 I found this pic of The Beatles at the Saville Theater in 1967 when I was looking for info about Jimi Hendrix playing Sgt.Pepper there on June 4, 1967. The theater was owned by Brian Epstein. The Beatles shot their "Hello, Goodbye" video there in November, 1967. So, this pic I came across, seemed to indicate in the caption that this was taken when Jimi was doing Sgt.Pepper. Paul was cleanshaven in mid-May, 1967 at the Sgt.Pepper release party. The date of Hendrix playing at the Saville was June 4, 1967. This photo had to be taken in the earlier part of 1967 while Sgt.Pepper was being recorded. Well, I did some research. The photo was taken at the debut of Jimi Hendrix and The Experience at the Saville Theatre. That would have been on January 29, 1967. On June 4, 1967, only Paul and George were in attendance to see Jimi and The Experience play Sgt.Pepper at the Saville. The Beatles, with Mal Evans, at the Saville Theatre, London in early 1967. Who is the guy on the left? Is that Jane Asher or Cynthia Lennon wearing the shades? January 29, 1967--On a Sunday ?Soundarama? presentation at the Saville Theatre, Brian Epstein presents in two shows, The Who, Jimi Hendrix Experience (on their theatre debut), The Koobas, and The Thoughts. Epstein and The Beatles attend.

RE: Doctor Who
In "Vampires of Venice", I enjoyed that scene where the Doctor thinks he is showing his invisible paper to the female sea vamps, and it turns out it's his library card with a photo of his first incarnation (The First Doctor: William Hartnell). That was funny!

RE: Doctor Who
Questions about "Victory of the Daleks" When the Doctor asked Amy if she remember previous Dalek invasions of Earth in recent memory. She said she didn't. Could this be a storyline for an upcoming story? Is it perhaps that she could be from an alternate timeline? At the end of the episode when the TARDIS leaves Churchil...l's underground bunker HQ, we see that rift in the wall. Is that Prisoner Zero possibly coming back? Or is it the alternate world where Rose Tyler is? Professor Edwin Bracewell- is he a Dalek created android or was he a human kidnapped by the Daleks fitted with Dalek technology? Just cracks me up with the polite Daleks. Love the newly redesigned Daleks. Reminds me kind of the redesigned VW Beetle. So, we'll be seeing this new design Dalek for now on? No more of the retro Daleks that we have always known? Why the new design? I thought would have seen Capt. Jack in this story with him being in the RAF. When Churchill said he met the Doctor before, which version of the Doctor was it when they last met?
