"On My Way To Work" from the NEW cd. He played it in concert only once in Albany, NY in July, 2014.
Appreciate your mentioning this. There are three videos of him doing this number in Albany. That has to be as rare as the one time only performance of Cosmically Conscious in 2009. Wish I could have been there for both.
I'm enjoying this thread.
Thanks, John, for reminding us about Cosmically Conscious. I was there at the David Lynch benefit. as well as in Albany when Paul played On My Way to work at soundcheck as well.
Also, thanks, 5th Beatle. Back in Brazil is a great song to have seen performed.
I was there when:
Paul played "Alligator" at soundcheck in Philadelphia in 2015 & 2016.
"Bluebirds" NJ soundcheck 2016
"One After 909" Valentine Day 2015 concert Irving Plaza.
At Highline Ballroom June 2007: "That Was Me" and "House of Wax"
At some soundchecks I've been to, he's played "Celebration" on piano.
2009 tour he performed "Highway"
2005 tour when he performed "I'll Get You"
At the David Lynch benefit Paul played bass while Ringo sang "With a Little Help From My Friends"
It's always great when Paul has included "rare" songs in his tours, like "The Night Before" in 2011.
You have a wonderful ability to show up when he does rare numbers. Please attend the May 31 Knoxville show I plan to attend (fingers crossed).
Yes, it is a shame that Oh Darling wasn't done live when he was much younger. That would be an absolute disaster now. Can't help but wonder if doing a number of songs that can really rip up the vocal chords has had a cumulative effect over the years. Was listening to Gratitude off Memory Almost Full which has him going at it hard and harsh. That, too, would be out of the question now and that album was from 2007, much closer to the present. Undoubtedly, the studio is very friendly in terms of not wearing your voice out compared to long live performances

Did anyone see this on Paul's Twitter today?
(as if he'd take requests!)
What would be on your dream Paul McCartney setlist? In anticipation of the GOT BACK tour and Glastonbury Festival, we've curated some of our favourite live tracks on @spotify. Listen here: mpl.pm/SOMBP
My answer: (again, just wishful thinking!)
No More Lonely Nights, What You’re Doing, Beautiful Night, Calico Skies, Little Willow, Here, There and Everywhere, I Will. Too many to name them all! Please drop Mr. Kite and sing In My Life for John. Drop Something and sing While My Guitar Gently Weeps for George.

In our dreams he would do requests -lol. My wish list from his solo career would be "Little Willow", "Take It Away", "That Was Me", "About You" and or "Dance Til We're High". I am not including songs from "McCartney III" that I expect him to do (Find My Way, Slidin etc). There are many others but just picking a few favorites that I would love.
He already does "Here Today" for John but if he wanted another song for him I would select "Early Days" from "New" which would be perfect IMO and song he could sing. I think Paul has done great job with "All Things Must Pass" and that would be the song I would swap "Something" for in his set list.
There are too many songs after his Beatle days that he has ignored so I would not put a Beatle song on this list. If I had to choose one, I would make it something like "Rocky Raccoon".
P.S. Wouldn't it be nice if Paul put that type of tweet on his own web site board -lol .
Great Post Yankeefan.
Like you said, I hope that Paul "adds" some Solo songs that he has never done (or rarely done) before. I was so frustrated when Paul didn't do 2 of the best songs on Egypt Station in 2018...."I Don't Know" and "Dominoes". Both songs are way better than "Fuh You" and "Come On to Me" in my opinion. And maybe he could do "Happy With You" as a tribute to Nancy. Love your choices for new tributes to John and George also.
Finally I would love "Rocky Raccoon" as a new "Add-On".
Thanks
Agree 100% on those Egypt Station selections except Happy With You, which I love, might be too taxing to his voice.
One thing is for sure, he has never done Oh Darling live, which is a great shame, and I certainly don't anticipate that one popping out now!
Open with Coming Up to get everybody moving.
Drop Here Today for the sake of his voice.
Do People Want Peace from Egypt Station for Ukraine and then have that blend into Give Peace A Chance to salute Lennon and Ukraine.
Two of Us from Let It Be because most of it is harmonized and it doesn't strive for epic high notes like on Blackbird.

Ah yes, a fellow teen of the long gone, much lamented 70s!
And don't forget the late '60s since we became teenagers in 1968!
1968...the year of the White album. Makes it special

This question came to me yesterday after looking up Ram On the Paul MCCartney Project website. This is a great site documenting all his albums, concerts, songs, since his earliest days. For each song, there is a graph of each year done and then listing of concerts or sound checks where performed. I saw him do Ram On in Charlotte in 2010, watched it on youtube yesterday. This question hit me and I added up13 concerts where it has been done. Tons of sound checks but I didn't count those,
So, for me, it has to be Ram On, although Mull of Kintyre must be close to it. How about you? Anyone catch Come and Get It which has to be a rare one as I think he did it at some European dates 10 or so years ago. Anyone see something like The Mess live in the early Wingsdays fifty years ago?
Hete's hoping for the nclusion of something never played live before during the Got Back tour,
He's played "Mull of Kintyre" evreytime that I've seen him; it's a Canadian thing. So far there's been no Canadian dates set for the upcoming tour. Fingers crossed & ready to blow the entertainment budget.
Actually, it's a Scottish thing. Used to live there but I saw it in Canada as well, just once, in 2010. Great song about a beautiful place. I imagine he will have more dates in September/October and hopefully will visit Canada.

He didn't do The Mess in Atlanta in 1976, but he did do Soily, You Gave Me The Answer and Magneto & Titanium Man, which I would classify as rare songs.
In 1990: This One, We Got Married and the other songs from Figure Of Eight.
In 1993: Ain't No Sunshine
In 2002: Vanilla Sky
I was in on the 1989/90 tour and heard those as well as Vanilla Sky in 2002. Wish I had been there for those others you mentioned, especially Soily in1976. Final exams kept me away so the chance has gone forever!
Luckily I was late to start college (4 years late!) And didn't begin until Sept. 1977 when I was 22!
P.S. He did Ain't No Sunshine in Columbia, SC in 1993 when you saw him.
Are you sure did he did Ain't No Sunshine in the Columbia in 1993? I know Hamish Stuart did it on Unplugged. Perhaps the soundcheck? I heard all of that soundcheck standing outside the stadium and most memorable number was Heard It Through the Grapevine which he may not have done anywhere else. Wish I had a recording of that!

I would say when he did 'Temporary Secretary' live in 2015 , I didn't really know the song too well beforehand , but showed that Paul was willing to play a deep cut track even though there were probably others that could have been done.
And the funny thing is that I never really like that song until I heard him do it live that year. Here's hoping the new tour brings ou some more deep cuts

John Oliver did a whole segment on Ticketmaster on last night's show. Thought I'd share.
Amazing. That Ticketmaster-Live Nation merger should never have been allowed to happen. That said, it would seem that the two could be broken up under anti~monopoly laws. I know these times are very demanding what with Ukraine War but when some sort of normality returns we should ask...Congress, where are you? Investigate please!

I don't think that I knew he did that one live. Wish I could have heard that. He should bring that back for Got Back as it won't strain his voice.
Another rare one for Got Back--do Peope Want Peace from Egypt Station and dedicate it to the people of Ukraine.

Thanks for these from the Greenville show. That's the one I missed due to severe illness. Well now,
I certainly hope they are included as I really looked forward to hearing their addition to the various songs in 2019 but, alas, health problems intervened and kept me away. Sadly, with the challenges his voice faces outside of the studio, they can only help.

$47 today, adjusted for inflation
This says it . Granted, the 1976 tour was devoid of modern video screens and staging but that can't justify what has happened to ticket prices. Ticketmaster needs to just go ahead and at least be upfront about they have become. Corporate name change from Ticketmaster to Ticketscalper to reflect 2022
I seem to recall an interview with Paul back before the pandemic in which quoted Rodger Daltry as saying it is impotrtant for a performer to keep doing shows live shows because if you stay off the road for a year or longer, your voice loses its ability to handle something as lengthy as a live performance. Problem is,watch Paul Austi City Limits from 2018 on YouTube and he was having trouble then. I shutter to think what the three tears off might have done.
I have tickets and can only hope he gets professional help and stays away from high notes. Don expect "The Kiss of Venus". At least I hope not
