Paul McCartney 2015 Rumors

About twenty pages back, I mentioned a couple articles in our local paper about the possibility of Paul playing here, including comments from a local promoter who's apparently tried to make this happen three years running. Well, last Sunday another columnist chimed in: http://www.idahostatesman.com/2015/04/26/3771606_dear-paul-please-come-to-boise.html?rh=1 Interestingly one of the comments following the article is from a friend of the promoter who says that the deal is "THIS close to inking the deal". If he hits us this summer, I'm sure some other cities out West would be likely.
If Paul reads that column and doesn't perform in Boise, he has no heart!!

If Boise happens this year, I could imagine Portland being added to the itinerary as well.

Yep, sounds reasonable...and perhaps a return visit to Western Canadian areas?

Well, if he's "THIS close" to a deal in Boise, I take that to mean that he's going to be touring somewhere out there this year, regardless of the outcome in Boise.

Can't imagine him skipping Denver if he comes out west.

So... I guess it's safe to say more shows will be added?

Seems that way given the "keep checking for more announcements" bit. -Rubber Soul13

You never know with Paul. He lives day by day and keeps us on our toes. Personally, I believe that as long as he feels he is up to it (health-wise), he's going to tour off and on non-stop for a good while.

He's done Regina and Winnipeg on this tour, and though they were on the last tour, Edmonton and Vancouver were still pretty big shows. That only leaves Calgary as a destination for Paul.

I could also see a return to Toronto and Montreal as well. I can see him putting together on the new tour (fall or spring) -NYC -DC -Boston -Tampa -Miami -Birmingham -Little Rock -Grand Rapids -Denver -Las Vegas -Calgary -Toronto -Montreal -San Jose -Albuquerque -Tucson -Sacramento

If he does these cities I will go vegan for a week! Actually, there are quite a few markets on your list he can play.
-
if he does all those cities I will adopt meat free Monday for at least 2 Mondays

I think we have two more years of this (until 2017) big touring-thing with full-length shows. Then I can see him scaling down. But I can see him going into his 80's, maybe doing some acoustic shows at places like Albert Hall or Radio City, mainly guitar-based. And I would pay a shit ton to see that!

Yeah, I could see something like this happening.

I'd always imagined him doing an extended residency like Celine Dion or more recently Billy Joel. But those one off shows seem more likely... either way I'm taking advantage as much as I can today. You only regret the McCartney shows you didn't see not the ones you did

I don't. I only regret if he comes to my neck of the woods and I don't see him. I don't regret not going to Columbia, SC or Charlottesville VA to see him.
-
any midwest rumors brewing around Lollapalooza week?
-
So four U.S. shows is all he's doing in 2015? No other rumors?
