Paul McCartney 2014 Rumors

Very exciting that Paul is going to such great lengths with a new song that's not even a single, I'm really glad he is. BUT....I still can't stand this one. Hopefully this is a Japan only deal.

That's my guess too. I think this will be Japan's deal. Then I think America will get Early Days. The video will probably be released after he tours Japan, then he'll add that into the setlist. I think he'll switch Appreciate for Early Days, unless he keeps both and makes it a 38 song setlist.

While it is not one of my favs on the new album, if he puts Appreciate in the setlist I hope it stays in through Atlanta. That is my 11-yr old sons favorite song on the new album. also, While in Atlanta he should check out the Georgia Tech Center for Music Technology. They have a marimba playing robot that can improvise with musicians and they recently designed a bionic hand for a drummer that lost his right hand in a work accident so he could continue playing the drums with 2 hands. http://www.gtcmt.gatech.edu/research-groups/robotic-musicianship-group http://www.gtcmt.gatech.edu/news/robotic-prosthesis-turns-drummer-into-a-three-armed-cyborg RAmblinRed

Absolutely! Would be great to hear it live!!

I would have thought "Save Us" would have still had the spotlight on it as a single to heavily promote while he's touring in the East? That seems to have gotten "lost" a bit...

Well... no show in Japan on the 17th. Tonight's show will take place on Monday, the 19th. http://www.paulmccartney.com/news-blogs/news/tokyo-national-stadium-17th-may-rescheduled

Not good news. Hope he's better for the next show. And let's hope that Newman the Robot doesn't also get a virus!

good one I wonder how this will affect the rest of the Japan dates and South Korea, if the 18th concert is cancelled as well. I'm only speculating as I would hope he's well for the show scheduled.

Unless the doctors tell him not to, the show on the 18th is still on.

Looks like both shows have been postponed. Hope Paul gets better soon!

I wonder if they'll be rearranged? On a broader note i wonder if this little bout of illness will spell the end of touring for this year after America? we all know that having a virus can take forever to get over and maybe Paul's doctors and family will tell him to rest up for the rest of the year, just thinking out loud to be honest with you but i wouldnt be surprised if it was the end of touring for this year.

Uh... why would he stop touring for the rest of the year because of this? The virus he has is probably something fairly common (like the flu or a stomach bug), and he just needs the time to rest up and recover. It will not take him the rest of the year to recover from this.

Viruses are pretty common, generally the flu. I doubt it was that serious or he wouldn't have said he wanted to play tonight but his team said he shouldn't. Hopefully he'll be well for Budokan!

Hes 72 virus's are odd things we're not privvy to the details but its serious enough to cancel these gigs, my point stands though hes on tour till august anyway even without this hed take a month or two off after america as a matter of course would he not? So no its not a big stretch to say he may just rest up and call it a day for the rest of the year, but we all know Paul hes a law and force unto himself

I think you may see him reschedule the whole Asian leg if it's bad enough and return in November/December. Of course saying this, that could change the face of anything else they were planning .

I hope not 'cos that would mean a big nothing for Europe again. I hope it isn't that serious.
