I looked at the schedule and noticed that the Yankees will be away from July 1 to July 14, so I could see Paul potentially playing at Yankee Stadium during that two-week slot.
Please no stadium shows! The sightlines are horrible. I'm really hoping for MSG.
Thank you! I hope he doesn't play Minute Maid Park like last time he was in Houston. You can't enjoy a concert there, even Sir Paul. Cynthia Woods or Toyota Center would be a much better fit. I do hope he does Texas shows though. It's been 3 years since Austin, 4 since Houston, and 23 since a proper show in San Antonio. I know there was Lubbock and Dallas, but those are both very far from any other major cities. Another show in Jacksonville or Kansas City would be great though

I'm going to have a stroke trying to figure this out before tomorrow morning... I can either splurge on a Hot Sound ticket for one show and do that by myself. Or see him in both Portland and Seattle with family (they won't spend that much for soundcheck). If you had to choose... what would you do? I've dreamed of sound check for so long... but two shows in a weekend?? After a three year drought!

I've also gotten temporarily blocked for trying too many times too fast and typing the captcha phrase too fast . . .I hate TicketMaster
TM is doing this sooner than they used to, I've noticed. It's not the complete 24 hour ban, but it does make you exit out of your browser completely before you can try again.
The time it happened to me it was even longer than 24 hours. I still have the furious emails between myself and TM Customer Service. They finally re-instated me after telling me to wait 24 hours between log-ins (which I did and still couldn't get in). Then, their recommendation was to just type and hit enter slower and wait a few seconds between tries . . .thanks a lot. . .while someone else is getting the great ticket that I want . . .I still hate them
I could not agree more!!! How are you stopping scalpers when I have not bought a single ticket and have not had the option to buy a single ticket and I keep trying over and over again and then I get locked out ??????????????????????????????????

I'd go for the soundcheck.

From 15 shows since 2002, my advice from having been fourth row center arena, front row festival, 6th row piano side arena etc etc.... Go big or go home. 1 Big Show. Soundcheck

I wonder if he'll play Wrigley again. It was OMG hot & humid there last time. Even had the VIP dinner outside in the heat.
There's already like 7 concerts at Wrigley this year. A few years ago the max was 3 a year. I guess they keep uping it.

For anyone planning a concert trip to the west coast, you might consider the Bolt Bus, an express bus that runs from L.A. to Vancouver (if you're visiting more than one city, or live on the west coast). Amtrak works too. IMHO, Fresno is an option for anyone wanting to visit a smaller city. They have a small airport, and a compact downtown with a simple grid system. It would be easy to rent a car there, although I am unfamiliar with the new venue. In Portland, where I live, you have no need for a car in the downtown core. The Moda Center, and the downtown hotels, are connected with the airport and the rail station by the MAX trains. You can find a transit map on http://www.trimet.org and maps of the downtown core on http://www.travelportland.com Good luck with the ticket chase, everyone!

Amazing that Paul is doing Sioux Falls. At 10,500 seats that's probably the smallest arena he's played. Even fewer seats after the blocked out sections. That could put similar-sized Spokane in play too? Someday.
I wonder how "fixed" is Paul's fee, when he switches from big 50k seat stadiums to 10k seat arenas.
Not much. Seeing the small cities he is playing in 2016 in the USA, you will never convince me Paul will only perform for nothing less than $2 million. NO WAY Sioux Falls or Little Rock will do that. Nope.
Perhaps sponsors pay for a bigger portion of the fee. To me the soundcheck package is not worth it. It would be a bit justifiable if you could see the soundcheck from the first rows, but they make you see it from the middle of the field.

I would do soundcheck if you can! You won't regret it.

Oh wow, what a dilemma. I am definitely going to do Fresno. I WANT to do soundcheck....it is my bucketlist. But I want hubby to go with me, but he doesn't care about soundcheck, but he wants to see Paul, and I want him to sit with me. arrrggghhh. I wish I knew if HE was going to come to a closer venue, but what if Fresno is the closest he will get? What if I do Fresno, and then find out he is coming closer? This is what will keep me up tonight.

If you go to Fresno, then he comes closer, you get to see him twice! I always said I would do soundcheck once, and I did, but it was Candlestick. Huge venue and huge number of people. The experience wasn't that great. But I got a nearly perfect 4th row center seat, so the concert itself was exceptional, except for the people in the 3rd row with all of their signs. Bottom line, I don't regret the cost at all. And now may consider soundcheck in a smaller venue. Can't help your dilema with the husband. Me, I would just get soundcheck and let him sit wherever

I would do hot sound, assuming you get a row 2-4 CENTER seat. If you want to join friends or family for another show, just get the cheapest tickets ($65?). It will be a completely different (but fun) experience.

Agree with all this. Soundcheck is cool for indoor arenas. Smaller cities tend to have less demand while in Liverpool there was about 120 of us and the LIPA students. I would try to do cheap seats first though and then the soundcheck... that memory will carry you over for the next few years

Little Rock is going to require the credit card and ID of the purchaser at the venue for "select sections". Presumably to cut down on touts/scalpers. I hope it's for the front section seats "Ticketmaster Credit Card Entry Tickets are NON TRANSFERABLE. ORIGINAL TICKET PURCHASER MUST ATTEND THE EVENT. At ENTRY you must provide the CREDIT CARD USED TO PURCHASE AND VALID PHOTO ID. Name on credit card must match photo ID. Entire party MUST enter the venue at the same time." btw Looks like it's the only venue of the NA dates doing it. here's an FAQ on the system http://www.ticketmaster.com/creditcardentry

Thanks all for the advice! I'd love to do soundcheck but will probably just go for Gold level seats so I can go with my husband. We can't afford two soundcheck tix unfortunately and I don't want to do soundcheck by myself. It's not an easy decision to make!

there are surely some further european gigs in pipeline. Event Travel lists VIP tickets under the headline "Paul McCartney VIP Ticket Descriptions - Paul McCartney Tour Dates UK and Europe 2016"...
UK you say
Oh dear CAN'T BREATH CAN'T BREATHE! And the good thing is any UK dates won't clash with Download Festival as he is in Germany that weekend. Hope to god he announces some UK dates. It'll be a great summer if so! Seeing Macca is a bit like a drug. You have a great time and are left in a glow for days weeks afterwards. And then after that you're just desperate to see hom again soon as possible!
