How would Paul greet Jude?
I bet Paul asked for him there just so he could go up to him..."Hey, Jude!"

Fly Paul Fly to Australia:
Too bad it wasn't filmed and released three weeks ago
That was my thinking -- initially. I'm hoping that this week's video-release will sustain the album's sales-mileage -- and, maybe, Paul can still get that No. 1 album.
Yeah, he can take Katy Perry. She ain't bad. She ain't NOTHIN'!
Katy Perry will outsell the next three albums in the chart combined. Paul will be doing well to stay in the top 10.
Joking again, I hope you realize! He's already down to #26 on iTunes.

I happened to be listening to one of those Beatles internet radio stations, and suddenly there was Paul's voice: "Hello, this is Paul McCartney on your local radio station, introducing my new single "Queenie Eye."" He really is going all out. Anyone else heard this on any stations?

Well, not a lot of stations are playing Queenie Eye, but they did release a spoken intro (actually 2 versions, I think) that stations can play to introduce the song.

I really like the video it's simple but effective it captures the mood of the song . It's quite a party song It would great if this single was a big hit for Paul , it's his best single since Coming Up , the video is kind of a modern version of the Coming Up video spotting famous faces

I kind of wish some of the celebrities looked more "cool," and not so enraptured with Paul and the song, but it's still fascinating to watch. The video does a great job of making that quiet interlude seem like a natural part of the song, and it really builds nicely from there. Waiting to hear from people here who got to be in the video, if they can see themselves!

OMG, I noticed that too and cracked up!!

They're going overboard with the photo touch-ups again. Paul does not need that.

In the "making of" video, the lighting on him seems strategically dim at times!

I disagree 100%. The song is okay but far from the best on the album. It has a certain noisy charm, but it's repetitive and basically goes nowhere. Worse, when considered as a single, it doesn't really fit any mainstream radio format, and it's gotten basically no traction on radio, as I expected. This was a criminally negligent choice for a second single, and I don't think the video is interesting enough to save it. On the plus side, the video is already over 190,000 views on YouTube, no doubt to a burst of media coverage of all the celebrity appearances so maybe it will give the album a small sales boost. On YouTube, it's preceded by a 15-second commercial for the album.

A lot of people love "Queenie Eye" Bruce...I think it's you doesn't like "Hosanna" and said it's not much of a song? Yet some call it "gorgeous." Music can be so subjective--reactions to music. I shouldn't comment at all I guess not having the album yet. You said some songs have some 1980's Press to Play-like sound effects, not sure I like the idea of the sound of that, guess it's in style now though to feature a bit of retro 80's.

The song is great and catchy, it should sell good. The Video....well, I don't know what all those celeb will add to the song! dancing or smiling it's below expectation for me! I thought of something more cool and imaginary to come out. or even Paul with the band will look more suitable with such good song.

The making of the Queenie Eye video
I do wish Paul (and the other people in the video) hadn't spent more than half of the video talking about the Beatles. As much as I love him, no wonder he's not really taken seriously as a contemporary artist anymore.
Specially the "Love Me Do" part! I hate that! he sounds shaky only to himself singing the first Beatles single, why does he do that?! Sorry Paul, but no one thinks John would have sounded better than you, and George Martin might have made things up politely to let you sing lead cause you sounded better.

Just watched Macca performing 'Queenie Eye and I was blown away by the Sgt. Pepper "feel" to this song.It just exploded into a pounding rhythm which was hard to resist. I wanted to get up and dance too. Loved the addition of "unseen guests"--could be you or I-- but it was nice to see a few notables. I even thought one little girl looked like Bea. Paul is still on top of his game and this song should do brilliantly well in the charts. One person who I would have liked to have seen standing by Paul's piano was a certain Mr. Lennon. How wonderful that would have been.....

He does tell that story to death, but of course he's talking about the original British single, where he does sound shaky there. On the album version, which became a huge hit around the rest of the world and is on the Beatles' "1" compilation and the "red" album ('62-'66), he sounds much better.

Okay, my thoughts on that video: Meh. Paul, you only took me halfway there. It was just a bunch of celeb cameos half of whom I don't even know. It lacked the energy of A Day in the Life which was the same thing basically but at least had all those groovy clothes. and Kate Moss can't dance. Should have maybe gotten Madonna. at least that chick can dance. Yeah, I'm not impressed with the video. Someone suggested that maybe the group of celebs should have actually been playing Queenie Eye in the video and that might have been fun. (You know...the childhood game Paul speaks of) the song? Oh, I love it. Love the line 'dogs and b*tch*s' and the tune. great song.
