Station 1* (aka Opening Station) / I Don't Know* / Come On To Me* / Happy With You* / Fuh You / Hunt ( aka Hunt You Down) / Confidente / Back In Brazil / Hand In Hand / People Want Peace / Who Cares / Despite Repeated Warnings / *Station II (aka Closing Station).
That leaves 3 unknown songs to make up the 16 on the album.
* These 5 tracks are in their correct positions.
I haven't set the track titles out as a list as this board tends to scrunch them up anyway after a while.
Thanks, Kestrel! Those titles look interesting... I saw that there's also a deluxe edition of the album, that will be released on Vinyl... wonder if that means extended versions of songs or additional songs that aren't on the standard release?
Target is releasing a CD with 2 bonus tracks on Sept. 7th. That’s where I pre-ordered mine.
One more month!

Just saw this morning that CBS (in the US for sure) will air a primetime 1 hour special of "Carpool Karaoke" later this month. The actual time will be Monday August 20 on CBS at 8pm (eastern standard time). CBS is emphasizing that there will be extensive "addlitional" footage shown on this special that you didn't see on the Youtube 23 minute edited segment that so many people saw on the Internet.
I must say that the "marketing and publicity" timing for this special could not be better for Egypt Station considering the album will be officially released only a little more than than 2 weeks later. When you compare the God awful promotion that Paul's previous record company did for "NEW", Egypt Station should really benefit relative to overall sales upon its release.

You mean if one ordered it on Amazon, there are no bonus tracks? Why can't he just just release one CD with everything on it instead of making us go here and there and buy it more than once to obtain all the songs? It's aggravating.

Yep. I originally pre-ordered from Amazon, then cancelled the order and pre-ordered from Target when I found out about the bonus tracks. Right now it is on sale for $14.99 (was $16.99 originally)

As far as you can believe anything that appears on the internet in advance of the official confirmation, this does appear to be the final tracklisting of 'Egypt Station'.
Opening Station / I Don't Know / Come On To Me / Happy With You / Fuh You / Who Cares / Windy Hill / Confidante / Hunt You Down / Do It Now / Back In Brazil / Hand In Hand / Dominoes / Despite Repeated Warnings / People Want Peace / Station II. (source: Wikipedia)
Alternatively though, the normally very reliable The Daily Beatle (Facebook) has just posted up this tracklisting so take your pick folks.
Opening Station / I Don't Know / Come On To Me / Happy With You / Fuh You / Who Cares / Windy Hill / Confidante / Quarters / Waking Up Slow / Back In Brazil / Hand In Hand / Dominoes (Light That Way) / Despite Repeated Warnings / People Want Peace / Closing Station.

His new love song about he used to get high or drunk or whatnot, but doesn't have to anymore because of having fun with his lover, with all the nice poetic images, is charming. Just the lyrics. So given his famous celebrated gift for melody, it's going to be a big treat (smiley face), oh joy

Each of those lists 16 songs. Could the exclusive CD from Target have all 18? Hmmmm...

Could well be. I think on balance Hunt You Down & Do It Now would be the bonus tracks.

Thanks for all the info. Looks like there's 16 songs and the extended version(s) will have 2 bonus tracks...

Paul posted on Twitter this morning "Stay up half the night..."
Not sure if that's lyrics to a song from Egypt Station on one of the setlists previously given (perhaps from "Waking Up Slow") or... should we stay up late because he has something to announce, lol

Read on another forum that someone who was at the Abbey Road gig said it's a lyric in Fuh You

Oh ok, thanks. Was just wondering. Can't wait to hear that song.

Fuh Yeah!
Rumors swirling about of a new single dropping very soon....

You can make out some song titles and lyrics here.

Not sure what you mean by godawful promotion of "New." In the U.S. at least they set up a pretty massive blitz of TV appearances. That's about as good as you can get publicity-wise for a geezer act like Paul.

It also depends on what is shown in that segment. Are they going to highlight Egypt Station songs or just the same ol Beatles songs? And still two weeks before the album... it is an eternity nowadays.
I was looking through my music on my phone and when I came across the Egypt Station album art I had to remind myself it was coming out soon. I’d forgotten. And I’m a fan who checks these boards everyday. The average person who they would need to make a splash sales wise? Forget it.
The album should drop as soon as the new CBS segment ends! Buy it in digital form that night and in physical form the next morning.

But now they are charging you $5.99 for shipping. It's probably better just to walk in the store on release day & get it then.

Yea Bruce...that was kind of a "knee-jerk" reaction on my part. You're right..they did some good things in the US before the "NEW" album was released. I do kind of remember members on this Board complaining heavily about poor marketing prior to the release of the album. Only from my memory, but I think it had something to do with the fact that his new tour was already in full gear before "NEW" was released.
From a mass marketing point of view, practically nothing Paul and company could ever do will beat the "Carpool Karaoke" segment. Whoever thought of that idea for making the public aware of Paul's upcoming album was a genius. Just look at the massive hits on Youtube alone.
I think the timing for the CBS Special will also be great from a marketing point of view. Even though the official release of the album is still around 2 weeks away (9/7) people can still preorder "New Egypt" upon watching the "full" episode. At the very least you will get a full "live" version of "Come On To Me". Hopefully we will get another song from "New Egypt" as well.
