Paul McCartney 2017 Rumors

Gordy JS:
He only plays America now really, which is annoying. I would love to see him live
He played Glasgow in 2011. I've actually managed to see him three times over the past twenty five years: Liverpool Empire - 6th July 1992 Shepherd's Bush Empire - 21st August 1998 Clyde Auditorium - 23rd June 2011

the fans on the run facebook page is eluding to more tour dates in the works, any further speculations? ð??

Apparently there is a rumor going around about Paul returning to Brazil in October. The name of a city has been mentioned: Curitiba.

Hmm...perhaps a timeline such as this?... June- New LP July/Aug- US Dates Oct/Nov- SA Dates Nov/Dec- Europe Eh? Seems reasonable...

Just an opinion without any inside info: judging by Paul's remarks in a recent interview, it seems the album is still halfway through, so maybe a september/november release would be more likely? Regarding tour dates: from 2009 to 2014 he used to finish off his year of concerts in november/december, but in 2015 and 2016 he ended in october. A new trend, perhaps?

Yeah, seems reasonable for me too. But could be like this: June- New LP July/Aug- US Oct- South America Nov - Europe I really doubt he'll be playing in December

And as 5th beatle said, the rumors in Brazil have started. And the information comes from a very reliable source, you can trust me. Let the games begin!

Quite a good amount of people have showed an interest since it was posted 6 hours ago: https://www.facebook.com/Curitibacult/photos/a.370113879788095.1073741828.369399403192876/1024686150997528/?type=3 There is also that promoter's interview from way back that seemed to indicate his company was negotiating a concert in Salvador, and it's worth mentioning he was successful once before, by bringing a concert to Fortaleza in 2013. The logical conclusion being that at least those two cities are being considered. It would make sense, actually: one city in the South, another one in the Northeast, with enough distance between them to attract fans from separate regions and sell out both venues. That's how it was usually done in previous years. I'm curious about something: Ringo has just confirmed a bunch of U.S. concerts in late october and early november. Has Paul ever done shows over there at the same time as his bandmate?

Forgive me!!! It's all my fault... Just graduated and saved up to follow Paul around.... So of course I've got travel miles, money and all the time in the world, so of course Paul has decided to stay put.... until I start work in a few months and have no time off
-
To answer my own question: Paul and Ringo toured the US in October 2014 and October 2015, so it would be possible for that to happen again this year.

Don't give up yet. What if he ends up doing US concerts between May and August?

Things could always change but from last I heard, chances may be dimming on summer .

Paul and Ringo have simultaneously toured the US on many occasions. I suspect the album is holding up the summer...which I'm okay with. I hope that means Paul really believes in the release and will give it due credit on stage...and MAYBE even announce ONE tour supporting it all at once. How crazy would THAT be?! A brand-new kick-ass macca LP in September with a nice lengthy US fall tour would be perfect.

I see... Could mean the album is due for release in summer, which is kind of what I expected. Hopefully with a continuation of the tour afterwards to support it. At least that'll give me more time to save! Presuming he comes to the UK that is Thanks Bob!
