Miami, FL - American Airlines Arena - 7/7/17 - RESCHEDULED

Paul and the band did a full show rehearsal tonight according to workers slipping out of the arena. The few that did come out would not tell me what songs were being played.

I don't know about you guys, but the thing I'm most excited for this leg is the periscope broadcasts regardless of setlist. I'm not seeing him this leg, but may catch him in NYC. We'll see. My predictions are something else from Peppers, maybe Fixing A Hole (05 style, solo piano, tuned down) or Lovely Rita returning, or both. I don't know if it will happen, but I'd love to see Mrs Vanderbilt come back after a well needed rest for a couple years. My guess is that it'll be either Jet or Junior's Farm second in, and either Letting Go or Save Us or Maybe he'll throw in an extra surprise. maybe some other Wings or solo gem, since that's what usually fits in that slot. He did say something a while back about a Flowers tune, although we know his track record on that sort of stuff. Maybe LTWTMS will return? Or not. Wishful thinking, i know but not unthinkable. Regardless of setlist, I hope everyone has fun at the show, always a truly transcendent experience.
Would love to hear Fixing a Hole, Mrs. Vanderbilt, Juniors Farm, and especially Letting Go, or whatever he decides is fine by me!!! Just as long as HE is playing!! Just got here and can see the arena with the McCartney billboard! Getting psyched!!!
Bringing my kids, including my 7 year old.... his favorite songs are Eight Days A Week, and All Together Now. ... if only he was old enough when for the Out There tour a few years ago, when both were in rotation... sigh.
That's about the age when I first brought my son during the 05 tour maybe that's why it's my favorite! You will enjoy it that much more with your children and especially one as young as 7 IMO! I'm jealous
I started a bit earlier with my sons...5 and 3 back in 1989. And the best part is my younger one is still enjoying Paul with Dad almost 28 years later!!!
Nobody is as lucky as you my friend. You are both the ultimate McCartney fans. Climbed the mountain and back. See you in Ny Nj for his September Shows. My son in my avatar is now 21 6 foot 1 and is begging me to take down this picture! Not going to happen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course they did -- today's "tech day". They would have to do a full dress rehearsal with lighting, video and the full set list. I didn't think of lurking around the arena for techs and family/special guests as they leave. Macca's crew would be tight-lipped, but the local stagehands and arena employees might talk (if they recognized any of the songs, that is). I'm sure that's how the 2005 lighting test video leaked out of Miami.

Where do you imagine he stays? Miami, Fort Lauderdale, maybe on the beach? No stalker-ish plans... LOL... Just curious
not sure. In 2014 in Jax, his whole crew and band stayed at a Hyatt downtown (I know because I stayed there too- wanted to meet Laboriel Jr but didn't see anyone significant though Nancy walked right in front of me before the show started and sat down a couple rows ahead). He stayed in Orlando and told a story about all the rides he went on at Disney
In 2002 (for the last two shows of the tour in Sunrise), he stayed in Ft Lauderdale (not sure which hotel). In 2005 (for the kick-off of the tour in the Miami AA Arena), he and his band spent a couple of weeks at the Ritz Carlton on Key Biscayne. In 2010 (for the tour end in Miami's stadium), he stayed at the Turnberry Isle in Aventura (remember the ring toss?). One thing I've noticed is that he has picked a South Florida hotel that was near very a nice golf course. Now, for the kick-off of the 2017 tour in the Miami AA Arena, there was speculation that he might be staying on Key Biscayne again. I don't think so, because I haven't heard of him staying at the same South Florida hotel twice. There is a nice golf course in Doral, but that would be a tough commute in heavy traffic to get to downtown Miami. Maybe he's staying in the Grove, somewhere. It doesn't really matter. If you happen to see him in an exclusive restaurant or in the produce section of the Winn/Dixie late one night, leave him alone. I hear his bandmates are approachable, though.

____________________________________________________ Thanks puppy whimpers This could be a good sign that maybe the Miami attendees will at least get 3 "truly" surprise songs that Paul mentions without specifics in the Rollingstone article. Only guessing of course but I'm still thinking that he will add the 3 Sgt. Pepper era songs that I mentioned on the Setlist thread. It makes sense because of the 50th year anniversary and how well it did on the charts. My guesses are: *Sgt. Pepper (the full song and he drops the Reprise in the encore) My guess is that it would fall somewhere in the middle around where he does Mr. Kite. *Day in the Life (maybe in the encore where the Reprise was done in Tokyo). If this is one of the surprises, he could easily go into Give Peace a Chance like he did in earlier tours (could make 4 surprises) *Penny Lane...he's done penny lane before and it is relatively easier to sing. A true signature song that he hasn't done in a while and it is on the 2nd disc of the new Sgt. Pepper reissue. Those are my guesses. Sadly I don't think any of the 3 surprises will be a solo song (e.g. My Brave Face or Put it There). I will be shocked if that happens!

I'm betting on the Sgt. Pepper Reprise being considered as one of his 3 "surprises", but as he already did it in Japan, it's not much of a revelation. (plus it's only about a minute long!) As for the other 2 surprises, I'm thinking they will be truly new additions, not merely recycled from the last few tours. What will they be? I don't know.

I had a dream last night he played Lovely Rita and a new song from his upcoming album. But then he played Magical Mystery Tour as the opening number but it was heavily sung by the rest of the band.
-
My guess: 1.Honey pie 2.In my life 3.Maxwell Silver hammer
-
My super realistic guess is: Bogey Music Oobu Joobu theme Kreen-Akrore

I could go for Oobu Joobu!
-
My realistic guess would be 1. Mary Had A Little Lamb 2. Little Lamb Dragonfly 3. Keep Under Cover
-
Have a great time everyone!

It would be cool if the "production enhancements" : is to do a live satellite duet with Paul and Ringo singing "With A Little Help From My Friends." Like how Paul broadcast live into space in 2005, they have Ringo on the screens in the back (wherever he is) and they did something like this. Would be pretty cool.

My guesses- - Pepper full song - Fixing A Hole/Lovely Rita/other pepper tune - maaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyybbbbbbeeee a Flowers tune or something like Coming Up returning
