Thanks for posting those Nancy! I'm sure by May, they will have so much more in place concerning the Vaccine. A friend will lend me his flat if I have to quarantine alone. I was supposed to go back in December, before the Thanksgiving mess. United was giving Covid tests for overseas back in November when I returned from the West Coast. Thinking they are still doing that.
The Commons Project is organising testing and vaccine info into a common agreed upon standard across nations. Going to cross my t's and dot my i's so I can travel. Looking at BeaTle Week in August, do you have to pre sign up for that?

I wrote a very long and meaningful post here, and then when I clicked to post it my tablet decided to say 'no wifi', so it's all gone (I can never copy/to paste on the tab, unlike desktop). I guess it's nature telling me not to post these things...

It's my understanding that you can't just stay where you want to. You have to stay in the hotel they tell you to. And they charge you a lot! Read this:
You have to get Beatleweek tickets on this site: (pick a package - we got Gold without the hotel - we picked our own hotel) Tickets went on sale in Dec. 2020.

Having to quarantine for 10 days at a government approved hotel (usually situated near airports) is only for travellers (returning) from 'red' listed countries. As of now the US isn't on that red list so you would only have to quarantine for 10 days at a location of your choice. In six months time that quarantine period from safe countries will probably be suspended anyway. The UK should be back reasonably close to normal by then although social distancing and mask wearing will probably still be in place.

Thanks Kestrel, it's very confusing! I really hope we can visit in August!

If Boris's announcement that all social distancing rules are completely abolished by 21st June (we'll see). I can't think of anything better than to have some Paul Christmas shows It's just wishful thinking but it'll be such a lovely thing to have after a terrible year and a half.

I wonder if the stage show that Paul is writing the music for (It's A Wonderful Life) will be ready by Christmas season 2021.

So good to finally hear of this! Can’t wait to come visit for a long stay! Will have to make up for lost time and lots of hugs are involved!

Do you think we will see any tour dates for the fall? Eric Clapton just announced a flurry of fall dates in the US.
Maybe a residency in NYC again?

New York is planning a special concert at Central Park on August 21th and producer Clive Davis said he is aiming for eight iconic stars to perform a three-hour show. I really think Paul will be invinted to join the party. What do you guys think?

The city has officially announced the first batch of performers. Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon and Jennifer Hudson. With "more" to come. Not sure if that bodes well or not for Paul? If performers are just doing 2/3 songs, there's still room for a Paul. On the other hand, these performers are in the same demo as Paul - maybe not so much Hudson. I wonder if the other performers to be announced will be more contemporary to appeal to younger generations. (I know there's plenty of young people that listen to Paul but you know what I mean.)

At this point, I don't think Paul will perform on this NYC Concert. But the Stones announced today that they will be back on tour on September. Maybe it's just a matter of time until Paul returns to the game.

I agree with you Renan - hopefully we get some news for 2022 - too late for 2021. There's a band performing at the Primavera Festival next year that I'd like to see, so I could combine with Paul in Barcelona if he keeps the same dates just shifting the years.

I've just seen on the latest Paul McCartney tweet "Sign up to receive the latest info on news, releases, tour dates, pre-sales and more" His tweets haven't mentioned anything about touring for a while so could something be coming?

On a completely selfish level I really hope not Gordy!
Just out of hosp and meant to be staying as calm as I can after a mini stroke so I seriously can't cope with tour dates
