2022 Tour - Horn Section?
-
For the Freshen Up Tour (2018-2019) Paul brought along a horn section for the first time since the U.K. dates in 1979.
Do you think he will have them in the "GOT BACK" tour?

Hot City Horns (the horn section) posted the "I Am Playing Glastonbury" logo on their Instagram... take what you will from that!
-
I certainly hope they are included as I really looked forward to hearing their addition to the various songs in 2019 but, alas, health problems intervened and kept me away. Sadly, with the challenges his voice faces outside of the studio, they can only help.

I really hope they're along for the tour this year! They were such a highlight on the previous tour!

I loved the horn section in 2019 too! Can anyone who went last night let us know if they were included again this time?

They are there

Just wondering if Paul is still using his additional "horn" section on the Australian leg of his "Got Back" Tour. For those who have attended one of these shows, please let me know.

Yes BJ, see link below.

In Melbourne.... the horn section became prominent on Letting Go.... Very early in proceedings... they weren't on stage. They were doing their thing in the upper stands... amongst the crowd. With the spotlight on them. It was quite awesome. Even if 70 per cent of the crowd reacted like they had never heard the song.... For me, it was a HIGHLIGHT!
Paul, at the end of the night, introduced them as "the horny boys".
ps. they did end up on stage. Somebody will tell me if my memory is errant.

ps. the horns would've been quite perfect with Arrow Through Me.

That’s exactly how they did it in 2019 in Greenville, SC.
